Privacy Policy

Overview

FlipFilez ("we," "our," "the site") is available at www.flipfilez.com. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, how it's used, and your choices.

How this site handles your data

Unlike our purely browser-based tools, FlipFilez converts files using a server, since formats like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF require real conversion software. Here's exactly what happens: when you upload a file, it's temporarily placed in a private, temporary folder on our server, converted, and the converted file is served back to you for download.

Both the uploaded file and the converted output are deleted from our server immediately after your download completes (or shortly after, on a best-effort basis if something goes wrong). We do not keep copies, back them up, or use them for any purpose beyond completing your conversion.

We don't require an account, and files are never reviewed by a person or used to train any model.

Cookies and advertising

FlipFilez may display advertising served by Google and its partners. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and manage your ad personalization settings, at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and adssettings.google.com.

Analytics

We may use standard, privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand overall site traffic and usage patterns. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

Third-party services

• Google Fonts — typefaces used on this site are loaded from Google's font service.
• Cloudflare — this site is hosted and delivered via Cloudflare's network.
• Google AdSense — used to display advertising, as described above.

Children's privacy

FlipFilez is intended for a general audience and is not directed primarily at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site evolves. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
